What's with our name?
The back story.
We are taking this little corner to be a little pompous. Most of the people we have met love our name! It’s nice.
I took a month to coin this name. I have been using this name ever since I started with freelancing in the world of design.
I thought about it for a month! Finally, I crossed paths with the word popcorn because lot of my friends and family used to call me names like maggi, noodles because of my curly hair! I took the inspiration to get to popcorn and to infuse a happy feeling to it, the word laughing was added.
Yes, that really is the true story. When I got on my team on board, I took everyone’s opinion and asked if we should change the name. All of them echoed, Nooo!!!
Well, I was happy. We stayed on.
Someone further added, after all, just like popcorns, we are popping up ideas all the time.
